We are delighted to announce that Park Medical Practice will be moving to large, modern premises in Timperley in the next couple of months.
We will contact you again, closer to the time of the move, with an exact date for the opening at the new location, but we wanted to share details of the new, ground-floor facilities our patients will be able to experience at the purpose-built premises.
The state-of-the-art building’s location offers onsite parking, enhanced disabled access and easy access to
Timperley’s centre. The new premises will also provide our GP practice with additional clinical rooms, an extended wheelchair-friendly reception area, an onsite pharmacy, plus modern facilities with improved technology.
In comparison to our smaller, older building, these much larger premises are also being welcomed by staff. The new premises will also host Timperley Library (on the first floor) and our patient consultation groups will also have the opportunity to meet more easily.
For your convenience, all contact details for our GP practice – telephone number, email and website details – will remain the same.
We are excited about our move and will be updating patients via information in our current reception area, our website www.parkmedicaltimperley.nhs.uk and through text messages. We have also included answers to some potential queries below.

- What is happening?
In the next few months Park Medical Practice will be moving from its current location on Park Road to ground floor premises of the large, purpose-built facility on Stockport Road in Timperley.
- Why is Park Medical Practice moving?
Our current building is much older and smaller in comparison to the new facilities which will provide 424sqm of space and will benefit our patients with additional clinical rooms, enhanced procedure rooms, a large wheelchair accessible reception and waiting area, an onsite pharmacy, plus onsite parking. Working in a more modern building with enhanced technology – with easy access to Timperley – is also being welcomed by staff.
- When is the move taking place?
Spring/Summer 2021. We will write again to confirm an exact date for the move and the closure of the current practice site. Updates will also be posted on the GP practice website and in reception areas. Patients will also be contacted via text.
- Where is the new building located?
The new location is 405 Stockport Road, Timperley WA15 7XR. The GP practice will occupy the ground floor of the building in which Timperley Library is based on the first floor.
- How far is the new building from the current GP practice?
Park Medical Practice’s new premises are 0.7 miles from the current practice. According to Google maps this is an estimated 2 min drive or 14 mins walk.
- What about parking?
There is dedicated onsite GP surgery parking including disabled bays and more than 70 spaces available at the venue for visitors to the GP surgery and library.
- How do the new premises cater for the disabled?
The new building provides disabled access for patients and visitors. The GP practice occupies the ground floor with premises featuring wider doors, disabled parking bays, lower reception desks, disabled toilets, plus a hearing loop facility.
